Transparency Is Key
“Today, power is gained by sharing knowledge, not hoarding it.”
— Dharmesh Shah
EOS Detroit has been livestreaming the EOS Alliance calls on EOS Detroit’s Youtube channel and will continue to do so in the future. The underlying importance of information transparency being easily available is key to the health and well-being of the EOS network. The livestreams allow anyone to follow along in the evolution of EOS as governance, protocol mechanics, and other top-of-mind concerns are discussed in open forums.
EOS Detroit believes that transparency is paramount in creating a free and open society. In an age where politicians hold closed door meetings with little accountability to the people who put them in power, it is so incredibly important that the EOS community doesn’t allow themselves to repeat the mistakes of the past. It is crucial to proactively engage with what is happening within the EOSIO ecosystem and keep block producers accountable. As a block producer EOS Detroit’s hope is to continue to push the envelope on what a radically transparent block producer embodies.
