Hey there! DLT has some thrilling updates for the WAX community!

Nodesuite now supports vanilla Leap v4.0, bringing you enhanced compatibility. We’ve also improved the package deployment process for smoother operations. Additionally, Pyntelope has undergone exciting enhancements, making it even easier for Python developers to interact with Antelope networks. And don’t forget, we’re making great progress on the WAX Labs 3.0 proposal. Read below for the full details, and stay tuned for more updates on DLT’s exciting developments!

Nodesuite: Vanilla Leap v4.0 Compatibility and Improved Local Package Deployment

Great news! We’re thrilled to announce that our platform now fully supports vanilla Leap v4.0, bringing you enhanced compatibility. But that’s not all — we’ve also simplified local Leap package deployment, making it more efficient than ever before.

Previously, each chain on vanilla Leap required a unique package in its files directory, leading to duplication and complexity. However, we’ve streamlined this process. Chains now reference a single package located under the eos files directory. No more redundant installations or confusion.

This update ensures a smoother experience, simplifies management and reduces potential errors. Take advantage of a seamless deployment process and make the most of vanilla Leap v4.0 compatibility today!

Pyntelope: Maintenance, Logging Enhancements, Documentation Revamp, and Rigorous Testing

In May, we focused on enhancing Pyntelope across multiple fronts. Our team dedicated time and effort to upgrading the platform’s packages, fine-tuning them for improved performance and stability. We also implemented enhanced logging capabilities to provide better visibility into system behavior, empowering users to troubleshoot and make informed decisions. In parallel, we revamped our documentation, ensuring it is user-friendly and comprehensive, catering to users of all levels. Lastly, rigorous testing was conducted to guarantee a reliable and seamless experience. These updates demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering a top-notch experience for Python developers looking to implement AntelopeIO in their projects.

WAX Labs 3.0

Exciting developments have taken place regarding the WAX Labs 3.0 proposal. The DLT team and the IGs have concluded their discussions and made significant progress.

Based on the valuable feedback received from the IGs, the UI (User Interface) mockups underwent further enhancements. The finalized proposal has been submitted to the current WAX Labs system, and you can find it at the following link: WAX Labs Proposal 135.

We have been granted final approval from the WAX team for the proposal. The DLT team has already completed the first milestone of the new WAX Labs platform and we expect the project to be completed on schedule.

FACINGS Creator (NFT Collection Manager) Updates

DLT is the parent company of FACINGS, meaning that DLT incubated and invested in FACINGS, and provides ongoing support to the venture.

Over the past month and a half, FACINGS has undergone some changes in development priorities for its Creator Suite project due to market conditions and unforeseen circumstances.

While completing Milestone 2 of the active ENF grant had to be delayed at various points, the team focused on critical maintenance and necessary adjustments. Here’s an overview of the key activities during this period:

Credit Card Processing

  • Sourcing new credit card processing partners.
  • Upgrading the backend to support multiple configurable credit card processors

Collection Maintenance

  • Burned extra NFT inventory of existing client collections (with their approval) to reduce supply and enhance long-term collector value

Miscellaneous Improvements

In addition to these crucial tasks, the FACINGS team dedicated time to several other improvements:

  • Enhancing the stability of the FACINGS’ pack opener feature
  • Implementing additional and clearer UI validation error messages
  • Resolving general bug fixes
  • Moreover, the product team focused on developing a roadmap for a “sales widget” that leverages FACINGS’ plugin architecture

FACINGS remains committed to providing a streamlined and user-friendly experience for creators managing their NFT collections. The initial version already offers core features for interacting with AtomicAssets on WAX, EOS, and Telos. The development process involves contributions from both FACINGS engineers and DLT engineers, who regularly collaborate on the project.
